Volume Zero - Autonomy : Freedom of Thought

In 2057, an impoverished world, suffering beneath the draconian rule of post-democratic cartels, gives rise to a small community of innovative free thinkers. Their technological breakthrough launches a new scientific renaissance and promises a transcendent evolutionary step forward, but it is not to last. Torn apart from within, the Community finds itself relentlessly hunted by federal and global authorities. If they are to survive, they must overcome their internal strife, outwit those who would destroy them, and find the courage to embrace a radical plan, one that can give them the freedom they seek, but might cost them their very humanity.
